Bridging Strategy & Impact
Across West Africa

Who We Are

Rooted in purpose, networked across a region

Our Mission

Yokkuté, meaning progress in Wolof, is an African and American partnership enterprise, based in Senegal, dedicated to locally owned and collectively built prosperity.

Using our regional public and private network and civil society, Yokkuté works to strengthen governance systems, promote accountable institutions, and catalyze private sector engagement across West Africa.

Our Vision

A prosperous and self-determining West Africa where locally-led solutions strengthen accountable and effective governance systems, and where an engaged private sector contributes to economic and social progress.

A future that rises from within, strengthened by partnerships rooted in mutual respect and a shared purpose to make our world more equitable.

Our Approach

Hub & spoke model

Yokkuté operates as a convening hub, rooted in Senegal and networked across West Africa, partnering with specialized local and international organizations and individuals to bring the right expertise to every challenge.

Rather than replacing existing capacity, we identify, convene, and amplify it. Our model connects specialists across nine critical domains, delivering integrated solutions while keeping local knowledge and ownership at the center of every engagement.

Across each domain, we apply AI-supported tools for market research, analysis, and adaptive learning, equipping partners to close capacity gaps and accelerate sustainable growth.

Four ways we deliver

01

Strategic Advisory & Innovation

We help clients design programs that work, translating global best practices and innovative approaches into contextually grounded strategies that reflect West Africa's institutional, social, and cultural realities.

02

Locally-Led Solutions

We partner with local actors to define priorities and co-create solutions that strengthen community ownership, build lasting institutional capacity, and drive sustainable results from the ground up.

03

Partnership Brokering & Private Sector Engagement

We connect governments, international implementers, academic institutions, and local entrepreneurs, building the cross-sector coalitions that make complex programs succeed and local markets grow.

04

Embedded Research & Adaptive Learning

Real-time insights that enable teams to course-correct during implementation — not after. We generate actionable intelligence at the pace of the work itself.
